Just for dogs
I love all animals, but caring only for dogs keeps me focused on providing the level of care I think they deserve. (‘Spoiling’ is another word for it.) If you have cats that live with your dog, I can help them, too, for an additional fee. But I don’t kitty-sit only.

At home
I don’t board animals in my home, I go to yours. I can walk your dog or drop in for scheduled visits while they stay at home, but I can also stay with them overnight. It helps reduce their stress by keeping them in their familiar environment. No more puppy nightmares.

Play dates
Not enough of our pets get social interaction with other dogs. I walk several dogs, so play dates get everyone together for fun and exercise if you agree to have your dog participate. We may go to a fenced-in dog park, or just go for a walk, but we always come home pooped. All dogs in play dates must have their current vaccinations, and be personality appropriate.

Service area
I stay within areas I can quickly access. West End, Cary Street, the Fan, Museum District, Midtown, Downtown, Shockhoe Slip and Bottom, and Church Hill.

Custom sitting
If you don’t see it within my Pet Sitting services or rates, but you have special needs or schedules, let’s chat. I’m sure we can work something out for you and your furry companion.

Scheduling
Because it’s just me, sitting and staying must be scheduled ahead of time. We’ll have an initial meet-and-greet (shake-a-paw) to work out all the details and to arrange for keys, codes and to assess pooch personalities. I need 48 hours notice for walks and sittings, and one-week notice for overnight stays. Holiday weekends require two-week notice. To expedite the process DOWNLOAD THIS CONTRACT AHEAD OF TIME, and have it completed and signed before we meet-and-greet, and also have a copy of your house keys made. Both the contract and keys need to be ready to go at the initial meet-and-greet.
